Automation Tester Engineer MNC

Roles and Responsibilities:-

• Knowledge and understanding of creating test plans, test cases, test procedure, test scripts and expected results.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge and understanding of system application trouble shooting and application testing
• Ability to turn preliminary information, ideas or problems into well-defined plans, solutions and test scripts
• Knowledge and understanding of technology, testing test plan, strategy and case creation and execution for client facing web applications
• Experience performing moderately complex to complex test data conditioning, regression testing and testing validation
• Responsible for making sure there are no defects in any release
• Be an integral part of the release cycle for each project
• Be able to multi-task between various projects

As an Automation Engineer:-

• Selection and identification of test cases for automation from existing test case documentation
• Apply & Design Test Automation Strategy Document
• Create an automation test plan and get approval.
• Automation framework design and implementation according to project structure
• Create, Enhance, Debug and Run Test Cases.
• Organize, monitoring defect management process Handling changes and conducting regression tests.
• Find solutions for issues related to object identity issues and error handling.
• Coordination with the members of the Test team and the development team to solve the issues.

Functional and Additional Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of information technology quality assurance and systems/application testing experience
• 3+ years of scripting and Automation Testing experience using Selenium
• 2+ years of working knowledge of Visual studio and Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• High degree of technical understanding and is able to follow and participate in technical discussions
• Ability to read and write SQL queries
• Hands on experience with White box and grey box testing
• Advocate for Software Quality Assurance best practices

Qualification and Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
• Marks / Percentage: 65% and above
• Experience: 5 to 7 years
• Language: English
